They provide actionable data insights & rate strategies and collaborate with program leaders in making key strategic decisions in multiple business units across the organization. By taking a proactive approach and delivering timely recommendations, the Analyst helps each program advocate for profitable growth on its own terms.The Analyst will analyze program performance and trends; analyze market performance and trends; price programs that marketable and profitable; establish adequate loss reserves; produce reports that affect company balance sheet; keep products statistically sound with regulatory approval.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInclude the following:Prepare & analyze all program data available.Analyze available market data.Perform Loss Reserve, Loss Trend, and Premium Trend AnalysesPrepare rate level indicationsSelect appropriate rate level for all programsAnnual, quarterly, and monthly reporting: price level indications; incurred and paid loss developmentProduct development and market level surveys.Other duties as assignedCERTIFICATES LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONCompletion of at least three CAS/SOA ExamsQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
