By connecting with Pivot Group, you position yourself for roles that match your background and aspirations. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machinery (mills, lathes, grinders). Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code. Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments. Inspect finished products for quality assurance using precision measuring tools. Perform routine maintenance on machines and tooling. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine performance or part quality. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges). Ability to perform tool changes, offsets, and basic G-code/M-code editing. Strong understanding of various materials, cutting tools, and machining processes. Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining high-quality standards. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators). Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for fixture design or program optimization. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
