The Melting Pot® is a uniquely fun dining experience that brings friends and family closer over bubbling pots of delicious fondue. For 50 years, The Melting Pot has defined the fondue experience niche across the American dining scene.  From the start, the melting pot founders, who still run the head office, were diligent in their search for energetic entrepreneurs who were as excited as they were about the concept and its potential. Their commitment to building a close-knit fondue family proved successful.  Upon polling our guests, we found that our main concern was that they might be forgotten. Our servers spend a great deal of time at the tables performing and taking care of our guests. Pre-bussing tables, refilling water glasses or coffee glasses, bussing and bringing guests fresh glasses of tea or soda are just some of the tasks performed by a service assistant. It is the Service Assistant’s job to be at the right place at the right time to ensure the Perfect Night Out.RESPONSIBILITIES:-      Establishes a professional, hospitable rapport with each guest.-      Maintains positive guest relations and exceeds guests’ expectations by promoting and reinforcing Melting Pot culture around the MVP card and The Perfect Night Out.-      Adheres to and maintains company policies and standards, complying with uniform standards, appearance and grooming best practices and federal, state, and local laws and guidelines concerning alcoholic beverages and food safety.-      Performs as part of the team, executing opening, running, and closing sidework assignments.-      Assists servers as necessary to improve the guests’ experience, abiding by the “entire floor is your station” rule. Assists in the cleaning and maintenance of the entire restaurant.-      Attends and participates in ongoing training sessions when provided, reads PreShift notes and attends PreShift meetings. Aware of the cost of supplies and executes proper operational procedures.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform all job responsibilities.
