Duties: Works collaboratively with any and all departments including physicians, Administration, Nursing, and other members within the Hospital. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Improve North RL Solutions, eHIM, Allscripts, and various government websites including The Joint Commission and the AMP program. Participates in developing ongoing mock survey readiness including inputting and tracking of all mock survey findings including the monitoring and follow-up of the plan of corrections. Attends Hospital Performance Improvement Group (PICG) meetings. Responsible to input data and preparing the agenda, presentation, and minutes for the Hospital Performance Improvement Group (PICG). Works with various departments in preparing their Performance Improvement Data projects and summary reports which are presented at Hospital PICG. Maintains good relationships with ancillary service departments to assist with meeting Joint Commission and government regulatory requirements. Works directly with the Directors of Quality Management to help maintain and customize the Midas+system. Improve North as it relates to the duties of quality management. Generate reports from Improve North RL Solutions Occurrence Tracking System and The AMP Program as needed. Assist departments in structuring their Performance Improvement projects and corresponding data maintenance. Collects and maintains Joint Commission documents as an ongoing process to keep the Hospital in a state of survey readiness. Participates in Hospital wide meetings to assist each other in troubleshooting various ongoing projects throughout the Hospital. Collaborates with the Infection Prevention Department with data analytics and various projects as needed. Assists and supports the Quality Management Department, Stroke Department, and Infection Prevention Department. Works independently and can prioritize tasks. Organized and demonstrates strong multi-tasking abilities. Serves as a role model and provides positive motivation and support to the staff within the Quality Management, Stroke, and Infection Prevention Department. Assumes various clerical duties including phone management, faxing, xeroxing, filing, scheduling, and writing minutes to meet the needs of the department as needed. Perform other duties assigned to Quality Management, Stroke and Infection Prevention Department. Qualifications: BA/BS degree preferred. Masters preferred. Three years of work experience in administrative/technical functions is preferred. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office data analytics, including Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with the MIDAS+ system is desirable. Ability to communicate effectively both in verbal and written form. Able to work independently.
