Description :Answer and respond to telephone inquiries from clients and borrowersRequest status updates from vendors (i.e. appraisers, skip-tracers)Obtain missing information on files by contacting appropriate contact via phone, fax or emailEnsure files have required information and documentation before going to the adjusterAssist borrowers, providers, and clients with problems or questions regarding their claims and/ or policiesDocument files with pertinent informationAdditional Responsibilities:Responsible for aligning with state laws, policies and company proceduresOther duties as assigned or requiredKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Knowledge of claims processing requiredKnowledge of Collateral Protection Insurance helpfulInsurtrak knowledge helpfulBasic Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer) requiredTyping of 45 wpmGood attention to detailAbility to multi-taskGood verbal and written communication skillsGood time management and organizational skillsExperience/Education:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience working in a claims environment required1-3 years of general office experience requiredUS Work AuthorizationUS Work Authorization required.
