Property Accountant

Job Description The Property Accountant will be responsible for all accounting aspects of 15 to 20 commercial real estate projects. He/She is capable of working in a dynamic environment and have the flexibility to deal with multiple changing priorities and be able to meet deadlines within determined timeframes. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS · Prepares bank reconciliations, sales tax submissions, and other related functions · Maintains rent rolls for all assigned properties · Work along side Property Management in billing and collections of tenants rents · Prepares adjustments and journal entries · Prepares and maintains accurate and timely financial statements · Prepares monthly, quarterly, annual reports to lenders · Assists in preparation of reconciliationsm, budgets, and research projects · Ad-hoc projects as needed OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES · Excel (advanced) · Word · Acrobat · Yardi Voyager Accounting Software (preferred) JOB REQUIREMENTS · Bachelors degree in Accounting a must · 3+ years of experience PAY $30 to $33 DOE All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
