Traffic Engineer

I am partnered with a leading multi-disciplined consulting firm that offers a full range of services to both public and private sector clients and they are looking to add a Traffic Engineer to their team. This candidate will play a lead role in the development and management of a variety of traffic operations and planning projects, including conducting corridor studies, freeway modeling, review of travel demand forecasting work, and traffic modeling and analysis of complex transportation systems.Responsibilities: Business developmentProject Management - manage multi-disciplinary project teams and technical work for a wide range of complex traffic projectsAssist the group leadership in developing and implementing a strategic growth plan for the market including short and long-term action plans and financial goals Required Experience: 6+ years of experience within traffic / transportation engineeringLicensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 monthsPTOE License preferredPrevious experience leading traffic engineering tasks, managing projects, and mentorship, growth and development opportunities for traffic engineering staffProficiency in computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and experience with traffic engineering software This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.All inquiries are confidential Reach out today to learn more.For additional information on this opportunity, please contact Jennifer Lefforge directly at (605) 679-4541.
