Med-Surg Nurse

Provide skilled nursing care in a 14-bed med-surg unit, focusing on patient safety and effective clinical interventions. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work with a close-knit healthcare team delivering personalized care in a supportive environment.Responsibilities:Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications accurately.Change dressings, insert catheters, and initiate IV therapy safely.Adjust and manage specialized medical equipment as required.Monitor patients vital signs and promptly report any adverse medication reactions.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.Qualifications:Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred.Proficient in medication administration and clinical procedures.Strong ability to interpret clinical data and patient vitals.Excellent communication and patient assessment skills.Schedule:7:00 AM 7:00 PM shifts.Approximately six weekend shifts every six-week schedule cycle.This contract role is based in Cache, Oklahoma, offering a welcoming small-town atmosphere with a strong community focus on healthcare.
