Maintenance Technician II

Work independently, and as part of a team, to inspect and maintain machinery and equipment in a manufacturing plant environment.Identify and resolve general equipment safety hazards and perform safety repairs as directed.Perform troubleshooting, such as diagnosing malfunctioning systems and isolating faults, and repair as needed.Utilize generated maintenance schedules to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.Perform welding, grinding, fabrication, and flame cutting, as required, to implement general facility repairs.Operate in accordance with Lockout/Tagout procedures.Remove snow and ice, when weather conditions warrant.May assist Maintenance Technician III's in their day-to-day operations and assignments in preparation to assume more responsibilities and further develop technical skillsets.Perform miscellaneous maintenance duties, as assigned.
