We are looking for an experienced and proactive Sr. Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to act as a liaison between our IT teams and business stakeholders across IT Engineering, Security & Compliance, and GenAI.
This role involves analyzing, documenting, and optimizing business processes to ensure that technology solutions drive efficiency, innovation, and growth. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, taking a proactive approach to solve complex challenges and drive process improvements across all three domains.
As a strategic partner, you'll identify process gaps, make recommendations, and ensure that technology solutions align with business goals. You'll help structure ambiguous areas and bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, with a focus on IT Engineering, Security & Compliance, and GenAI initiatives.
What you will be doing:
Collaborate with IT Engineering, Security & Compliance, and GenAI teams to understand and refine business processes, translating technical solutions into actionable requirements.
Lead requirements gathering sessions and ensure that business needs are clearly documented with actionable next steps.
Proactively identify process gaps and make recommendations for optimizing business processes, driving efficiency and innovation across all three domains.
Act as a subject matter expert, advising stakeholders on best practices and industry trends in IT, Security & Compliance, and GenAI technologies.
Work cross-functionally with teams such as IT operations, Risk & Compliance, and PMO to design workflows, address gaps, and ensure seamless technology adoption.
Maintain a comprehensive view of all business systems, ensuring alignment between business goals and IT solutions.
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation, while ensuring scalability and alignment with future growth.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including process flows and requirements, ensuring consistency and transparency across system implementations.
Facilitate testing and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Maintain proactive communication with business and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
Stay informed about trends in IT engineering, cloud computing, and GenAI to make informed recommendations.
What you bring along:
5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in an IT, Security & Compliance, or SaaS environment.
Strong knowledge of business process analysis, requirements gathering, and system documentation.
Experience working with IT, Security & Compliance, and GenAI teams to drive business process improvements.
Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, actionable requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable business solutions.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Bonus points:
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related best practices in IT and Security.
Experience with cloud security and compliance best practices.
Familiarity with Okta for Security & Compliance purposes.
