Job Duties and Responsibilities

Staff Software Test Engineer sought by DISH Wireless, LLC in Denver, Colorado. 

Test iOS & android native and hybrid mobile applications which will be utilized by millions of users in our retail wireless business. Play an active role in release planning and be the voice of QA for the product. Proficiency in testing and debugging mobile applications and previous exposure to automated test tools. Keep up to date on new technology, standards, protocols and tools in areas relevant to the rapidly changing digital environment. Good analytical capabilities to evaluate test results and make recommendations. Solve complex business problems while ensuring the product is highly scalable, secure, and performant. Maintain familiarity with the underlying architecture and call flows of mobile applications.

Job requirements :

Requires: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business, Technical Discipline, Computer Science or closely related field plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience with full Software development or testing /test lifecycle in job offered or equivalent role. Also requires 5 years of experience with /using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):

Testing on Android and iOS wireless devices Testing that encompasses smoke tests, regression tests, feature testing, and exploratory testing. Capturing and analyzing network traces and device logs to determine the root causes of defects Writing and maintaining UI test automation that performs End-to-End testing for Mobile Applications Creating and maintaining testability tools such as virtual services, test data services, etc. Developing GUI test automation using frameworks such as Selenium, Appium and Cucumber and functional testing with unit test frameworks such as xUnit and Jest. Rate of pay: $136,155.76
