The ideal candidate will manage the flow of parts for our technicians, maintain stock inventory, oversee returns, and work to reduce waste and inefficiencies in our current system. This person will work closely with our team to develop and optimize systems, ensuring that parts and inventory are handled effectively.Responsibilities  Receive, inspect, and check in appliance and TV parts with a focus on accuracy. Organize parts. Pull and prepare parts for technicians ahead of daily appointments. Maintain accurate stock inventory and triaged parts, minimizing loss and inefficiencies. Develop and implement an efficient system for handling parts between office and tech trucks. Learn and optimize the returns process within our system, eventually taking full ownership of this task.  Tech Relations: Work closely with technicians to ensure compliance with inventory processes.  Communicate assertively and professionally to follow up on missing or unused parts.  Foster positive relationships with technicians while maintaining accountability.   Administrative and Secondary Tasks: Answer phones and assist with customer service (e.g., scheduling, confirming appointments, etc.)  Assist and facilitate parts sales.  Collaborate with the team to improve processes, troubleshoot, and solve problems.  Enter detailed notes into our system.  Proactively ask for additional tasks during downtime   Requirements Technology Proficiency: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and systems. Organization Skills: Strong ability to maintain detailed records and streamline processes. Communication: Assertive yet personable, able to hold others accountable while fostering positive relationships. Problem-Solving: Capable of identifying inefficiencies and proposing practical solutions. Experience: Appliance industry knowledge is a plus, but not required.  Inventory/stocking experience is preferred but not required. Member businesses are independently owned and operated.
