Job Description Echo Tech Shift: Monday-Friday, call rotation required $10,000 FOR STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENTS As an Echo Tech at Turkey Creek Medical Center, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Requirements: Current BLS from AHA or ARC  Graduate of an approved program of echocardiography and non-invasive cardiovascular technology. At least 1-2 year of previous Echo Tech related experience preferred. Registry in echocardiography and by either the American registry of Diagnostic Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International. Must be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge and skill in the performance of trans-thoracic contrast echocardiograms. Two to three months orientation to department policies, procedures protocols and equipment. About the Job: Registered Echo Technologist under general supervision according to established policies and procedures, performs routine and complex echocardiography and performs and provides preliminary interpretation of studies performed. Examinations performed may include, but are not limited to, trans-thoracic, trans-esophageal, stress and contrast echocardiograms (utilizing commercially prepared contrast agents).
