Senior Product Owner, New Business UnderwritingRole SummaryAs a Senior Product Owner - New Business Underwriting, you will be responsible for defining and driving product roadmaps, integrating customer research, and ensuring compliance with data/AI standards. The position requires strong knowledge of product journey mapping, business process improvement, and OKR management. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesYou will:Translate the product vision and strategy into a team backlog, including user stories with clear acceptance criteria and tasks, ensuring alignment with epics and customer needsWork closely with the Product Manager to prioritize and implement process improvements, track progress and communicate updates to stakeholdersDefine, prioritize, and sequence product features and requirements in the team backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needsManage the backlog and roadmap in collaboration with the Tech LeadBreak down data requirements into the team backlog and ensure timely and quality delivery of product functionality and desired customer experienceWork with data and AI SMEs to ensure data and AI standards are met across applicationsConduct go-to-market readiness activities as the team prepares for release, including reviewing the release plan with the PDMYou have:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceA minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product management or a related fieldProven experience in defining and driving product roadmaps, integrating customer research, and ensuring compliance with data/AI standardsStrong knowledge of product journey mapping, business process improvement, and OKR managementExperience working with cross-functional teamsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesPrevious experience with Rating or Underwriting, preferrredRequired skills:Objectives and Key Results (OKR)Product RequirementsProduct Backlog ManagementRoot Cause Analysis (RCA)Solution DeliveryLocation:The work arrangement for this position will be hybrid, 3+ days per week in a local Guardian Office - Boston, MA | Bethlehem, PA | Hudson Yards, NYC | Holmdel, NJ.Salary Range:$118,980.00 - $195,465.00The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
