Lecturer in Natural Sciences: Physics AY 2025-2026.

Position description Applicants internal to the UCM Department of Physics who had an appointment in 2024-2025 and apply by the “Initial Review Date” will be considered prior to all other applicants. The School of Natural Sciences anticipates hiring full and part-time lecturer positions to teach the following subjects in AY 2025-2026: Introductory Physics I for Physical Sciences Introductory Physics II for Physical Sciences Introductory Physics I for Biological Sciences Introductory Physics II for Biological Sciences Other courses as needed In addition to teaching the course(s), the instructor will be evaluating student work and exams, calculating and posting grades, and holding regular posted office hours each week. This is a limited-term appointment which falls under the purview of the agreement for the Lecturers Unit between University of California and the American Federation of Teachers. Terms and conditions of employment are subject to UC policy and appropriate collective bargaining agreement.
