QA Technician Pay: $16.50/hour Location: Owasso, Oklahoma Hours: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM–4:00 PM | OT as needed Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Job Order #: 123018 Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Technician to support food safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced production environment. The QA Technician plays a crucial role in monitoring processes, performing product testing, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring that all procedures align with USDA, GMP, HACCP, and company standards. Key Responsibilities • Monitor production processes for compliance with USDA, GMP, HACCP, and company policies • Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods • Maintain updated records including quality logs, inspection reports, and food safety documentation • Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and audit requirements • Assist with preparation and submission of internal/external audit reports • Perform product testing: temperature checks, pH, moisture analysis, weight checks • Verify test results meet specifications; report deviations to FSQA Supervisor • Ensure products comply with all food safety regulations • Support the implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality procedures • Stay informed on regulatory updates and industry standards • Collaborate with production and sanitation teams to maintain compliance • Provide feedback and support on food safety and quality practices • Communicate any quality or safety concerns promptly • Provide guidance on proper handling, storage, and processing of materials • Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements & Qualifications • High school diploma or GED required; degree in food science, microbiology, or related field a plus • Experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a related role in meat processing or food manufacturing preferred • Strong working knowledge of HACCP, SPC, GMP, SSOP, and food safety regulations • Strong attention to detail; able to follow strict procedures and guidelines • Basic computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping • Effective communication skills and strong teamwork abilities • Ability to work in cold/refrigerated environments • Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated setting • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; Spanish helpful but not required If you are seeking a long-term opportunity in a regulated food production environment, apply today for this QA Technician position.
