Location: New Braunfels Type: Contract to Hire Job #19881 Salary: $ HOUR The HT Group has a banking industry client in Austin, TX, looking for a Bank Teller who is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and professional to provide exceptional service while accurately processing financial transactions. This individual will represent the bank with a friendly and professional demeanor, assist customers with their daily banking needs, and promote bank products and services to strengthen customer relationships. Responsibilities: Process a variety of customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and money transfers. Deliver excellent customer service to walk-in and drive-thru clients in a courteous and professional manner. Cross-sell and refer bank products and services to meet customer needs and support branch growth goals. Accurately record and balance all transactions in compliance with bank policies and procedures. Handle commercial bags, mail-in deposits, and night drop transactions. Verify and balance cash drawers and large transactions, including preparing currency transaction reports over $10,000. Assist with audits, customer inquiries, and provide support to other branches as needed. Travel within the region and work weekends as required. Requirements: 6 months to 1 year of banking or related experience (cash handling, clerical, or customer service preferred). High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service. High attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.
