If you would like to work with a highly skilled workforce to achieve unique and challenging goals that critically impact our environment and community, this is your chance to be a part of our legacyThe Waste Projects & Operations Project is responsible for the following: * Safely and compliantly storing, treating, and disposing of a wide variety of solid wastes and nuclear materials. * Providing integrated waste treatment, transportation, storage and disposal services for all CPCCo cleanup projects. * Management of stored fuels and capsules, including 1,936 highly radioactive cesium and strontium capsules in underwater storage. * Retrieval and packaging of legacy transuranic waste for off-site disposition. * Treatment and disposal of mixed and low-level radioactive wastesA day in the life of a Shift Operations Manager at T Plant includes, but is not limited to: * Managing and supervising operations of T Plant Complex, including bargaining unit personnel. * Adhering strictly to Conduct of Operations and Technical Safety Requirements.* Establishing and maintaining operational priorities for all of the T Plant Complex. * Coordinating with support groups to assure operating capability and compliance with all procedures. * Reviewing and approving technical documents and conduct assessments.* Functioning as a Building Emergency Director.* Ensuring facility/system configuration control is maintained. Basic Qualifications Grade 20 - Shift Operations Manager Nuclear - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 8 years of relevant experience and at least 2 years of relevant experience must be nuclear experience Desired Qualifications * Four or more years of supervisory experience.* Previous experience as a Field Work Supervisor/Shift Manager in a Category 2 Nuclear Facility. * Experience managing bargaining unit personnel. * Strong Conduct of Operations experience, and problem solving/decision making skills. * Solid understanding of work control management and integrated schedule processes, Lockout/Tagout requirements, criticality safety documents, Documented Safety Authorization, and Technical Safety Requirements. Compensation & Benefits In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):Grade 20: $114,700 - $183,450In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.CPCCo's generous benefits package offers medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) employer match and paid time off.
