Description :Essential Responsibilities: Identify and recommend best practices for government relations and regulatory compliance.Lead functional projects and programs related to government relations.Conduct analysis to understand business trends and their implications for government relations.Participate in advocacy efforts to influence public policies.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with government relations strategies.Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and public policy issues.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:Essential Responsibilities: PayPal’s U.S. Public Policy Manager will concentrate on developing the organization’s public policy positions to shape and influence relevantfinancial serviceslegislation and regulations at the U.S. federal and state levels,including, but not limited to,federal supervision and state licensing and payments regulations. In addition to developing PayPal’s public policy positions, the manager will lead the development of briefing documents, talking points, and background materials for advocacy engagements.The position will collaborate closely with senior management and business units to assess relevant public policy impacts and opportunities and toassistin developing strategies toadvance the organization’s business interests. An ideal candidate shouldpossessextensive policy experience and a strong understanding offinancial servicesissuesat both the US federal and state level, along with knowledge of various federal and state regulatory processes, including those related to the CFPB, FDIC, OCC, and Treasury Department.Candidates must be able to quickly analyze information and succinctly distill and explain complex policy issues to internal and external audiences.Exceptional written communication skills arerequired. The manager will alsorepresentthe organization before trade associations, coalitions, and other stakeholders.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and abachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Subsidiary:PayPalTravel Percent:0PayPal does not charge candidates any fees for courses, applications, resume reviews, interviews, background checks, or onboarding.
