Every verified delivery and restocked supply helps our neighbors stay active, comfortable, and cared for where they want to be.Position Summary The Warehouse Clerk assists with the accurate preparation of patient supply and medication orders and ensures their timely delivery to patient homes.Position ResponsibilitiesAccurately ship/deliver medication and supplies as scheduled utilizing the most effective method of delivery while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.Package and ship supplies and medications according to temperature and safety guidelines. Maintain accurate delivery records for individual patients and ensure patient/caregiver signature and date are obtained. Order supplies as necessary. Support inventory control operations by restocking consignment closets and Durable Medical Equipment store, conducting cycle counts, and monitoring inventory levels in the warehouse.Retrieves medications, supplies, and equipment at the UIHC pharmacy as needed. Cleans returned equipment according to established guidelines.Deliver patient orders locally and across the state of Iowa.  Participate in a weekend on-call rotation. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required.Basic computer skills.Must have a good driving record.Driver’s license and proof of insurance are required.Desired Qualifications and ExperienceSome experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.Healthcare experience a plus. Required Skills and AbilitiesStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers are essential.Ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve warehouse goals.Adaptability and willingness to adjust to changes in inventory and workflows.Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills.Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift 50 lbs. and push 85 lbs.Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.Lift, bend, push, pull, twist, and reach.Additional Eligibility RequirementsSuccessful completion of a background check.Successful completion of reference checks.Proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Expected Work Hours and LocationGenerally, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a weekend on-call rotation.  The weekend on-call rotation hours start at 5:00p.m. on Friday and end at 8:00a.m. on Monday.  Days and hours are subject to change with notice. This job description is a summary of the primary duties of the position but may not be all inclusive. UIHV is an equal opportunity employer.
