Supply Chain Intern

About Electra:Electra.aero is seeking an enthusiastic college student to contribute and gain experience to our Supply Chain Manufacturing team during the Fall 2025 and/or Spring 2026 semester terms onsite in Manassas, VA daily. This team is responsible for the Sourcing, Total Cost, On time Delivery, and Quality from our suppliers. The ideal candidate will be working towards a Supply Chain Degree. The position is based in Northern Virginia and candidates should be located within commuting distance of Manassas, VA or willing to relocate for the duration of the internship. The intern will be an integral member of the Supply Chain Manufacturing team and will provide impactful value added projects.Potential Responsibilities & Essential FunctionsDevelop detailed Standard Operating Procedures and Metrics Develop and implement tools that gain productivityAssist with staff with training and development initiativesImplement continuous improvement initiatives Build and implement strategy around Indirect SourcingBuild and implement Supplier qualification and Supplier Selections processBuild and implement other productivity tools like Supplier Portal, e-auctions, or raw material market analysis templateRequirementsA strong work ethic and ability to operate independently. Work may require some physical effort in handling light materials, boxes, power tools, prototypes, and different materials or equipment. Due to the nature of our business and projects, some fieldwork may be required, working in both indoor and outdoor conditions.
