Monitors reorder points and initiates action to replenish stock. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities.Responsibilities & Duties1. Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.2. Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.3. Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.4. Processes and/or approves invoices for payment.5. Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures.6. May lead, guide, and train staff/student employees, interns, and/or volunteers performing related work; may participate in the recruitment of volunteers, as appropriate to the area of operation.7. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities• 3+ years of relevant experience• High school diploma or GED• Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.• Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.• Database management skills.• Ability to analyze and solve problems.• Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.• Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.• Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.Additional Job DetailsSupport & Production – S2Organizational Impact• Works to deliver on day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on achievement of results for the team• Work consists of tasks that are typically routine, with some deviation from standard practice• Works under moderate supervision for routine tasks• May seek advice of more senior employees in the same teamCommunication & Influence• Communicates with contacts typically within the team on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring some explanation or interpretation in order to reach agreementInnovation & Complexity• Checks and makes minor adjustments to work methods to solve problems that are routine and typically exist in current work processes and systems• May be required to highlight areas of concerns/problems to supervisor in own team• Daily challenges are generally routine, but may require interpretation of procedures or policies to resolve problemsLeadership & Talent Management• May provide guidance or assistance to new or entry-level employeesKnowledge & Experience• Requires basic job knowledge of systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education• Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience.
