Find your opportunity to make an impact:Get out into your community -- participate in local events including school screenings, presentations and any opportunity to promote a positive image of usParticipate in morning huddles (hey, even ask to run one), let your peers know how much you appreciate them, highlight great examples of customer focus, collaboration etc.Love working with kids (they make up 70% or more of our patient base) Responsibilities Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patientGuide parents and patients through our processes before treatmentEducate patients in oral hygiene instruction and provide postoperative instructionPrepare patient for examination and treatmentTake x-rays and save to patient chartsTake quality orthodontic facial photos Responsible for the operational readinessPrepare tray set-ups for dental proceduresMix amalgam, cement, pulp paste and prepare impression materialsSterilize and disinfect instruments and equipmentClean chairs and roomsAssist professional dental staff with treatmentDocument patient information, treatment plans, and procedures in patient chartPour, trim and polish impression castsFabricate custom impression traysPerform to the highest integrity by adhering to all government regulations, company standards, and company compliance programsOther duties as assigned QualificationsOrthodontic or Dental Assistant Certification (State dependent) Preferred at least 1 year of experience in Orthodontic AssistingCPR/BLS Certification RequiredWilling to travel in territory assigned to teamHigh focus on customer service and satisfactionMust love working with childrenCompassion and high level of service for our patients, parents and staffIntegrity, always doing the right thingDependable, reliable to be at work when scheduledAttention to detailAble to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlinesProfessional manner and appearance at all timesWe Offer:Competitive compensationMonthly bonuses based on Office performanceComprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with match, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, company holidays and much more We value teamwork, mutual respect and cooperation.
