Patient Care Associate (CNA) | Orthopedics | 32 hours| EVENINGS-(3288479) Description Sign on Bonus The Opportunity: Patient Care Associate - Orthopedic - White 6 Why This Role Is Important? White 6 is a 30-bed unit with the clinical specialty being orthopaedics and Oral Maxillofacial/Medical. The population of patients includes elective total joint replacement, trauma, and orthopedic oncology. Under the direction of a registered nurse (RN), the Patient Care Associate (PCA) assists the multi-disciplinary health care team in clinical support functions to promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment. White 6 is seeking a PCA, with Evening availability, and to provide weekend and holiday coverage. Schedule Evening (3pm-11pm) Rotational holiday and weekend schedule What are we looking for? PCA assists patients with daily living needs, monitoring & reading vital signs, drawing blood, and obtaining EKGs. Responds to patient requests in a timely manner, safeguarding patient confidentiality, monitoring patient safety, and always communicating in a respectful manner. What do we have to offer?
