More information about Dashiell can be found at Job Title: Project Manager Job Location: 1750 West 11400 South STE 130, South Jordan, UT 84095 Primary Function: Responsible for the development, planning, execution, and monitoring of projects focused on the turnkey construction of high voltage electrical substations, transmission lines and distribution lines. Duties & Responsibilities Employee may be called upon to perform any or all of the following functions: Accountable for the cost, schedule, safety, quality and completion of construction projects Coordinate work with Purchasing to ensure that requested material is expedited and received as needed for the construction of a project. Manage multiple project teams. Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of cash flows, monthly billing, preparing and obtaining change orders for assigned projects. Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of monthly construction progress reports, re-projections, files, etc, required for the construction of a project. Resolve inter-group conflicts, project conflicts and delays as required to meet project construction goals. Travel out of town for short periods of time as required by projects and assignments. Other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications / Experience Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil Engineering, or equivalent is required. Professional Registration is preferred. 10 years experience in the design, construction, or operations of substations and/or transmission lines is required. 10 years of experience in the supervision/management of budgets and work groups is strongly preferred. Possess skills in the following areas: Demonstrated understanding of substations, substation control and transmission systems. Understand financial aspects of project control. Interpersonal skills, technical knowledge, organizational ability and leadership talent. Experience with MS Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Working in a team environment. Communicating effectively with co-workers. Willing to travel to project sites as necessary. Physical Requirements: This position requires minimal physical effort. Must be able to endure prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer for a minimum of 8 hours a day While performing the duties of this job, the employee will primarily work indoors, with occasional outdoor exposure to year around weather conditions and noise. Must be able and willing to travel overnight for trainings and/or meetings as required (10%) Working extended hours, including weekends, may be required periodically.
