Communication Intelligence Analyst

Amentum is seeking a dynamic and agile Communication Intelligence (COMINT) Analyst with experience in Communications Intelligence (COMINT), machine-generated data communications (PROFORMA), and/or Foreign Instrumentation Signals Intelligence (FISINT) to support Theater Army intelligence collection efforts in Army-Pacific’s (USARPAC) Intelligence Directorate at Fort Shafter, Hawaii. *This posting is part of our ongoing talent pipeline. As a SIGINT Analyst, you will be an essential part of an intelligence team, responsible for conducting real-time COMINT/PROFORMA/FISINT analysis of a wide range of signals in the RF and digital domains, with a focus on identifying and characterizing potential threats and activities of interest within the Pacific AOR. You will utilize advanced COMINT/PROFORMA/FISINT systems, databases, and analytical techniques to perform signals identification, geolocation, and exploitation. You will also be generating time-sensitive intelligence reports, alerts, and briefings to support tactical and strategic decision-making by Combatant Command and Army leadership as well as operational units.Your duties will further include collaborating closely with other intelligence disciplines, including SIGINT, HUMINT, and All-Source analysts, to produce integrated intelligence assessments. You will be actively monitoring the electromagnetic environment in the Pacific theater, identifying emerging trends and potential vulnerabilities. Performing shift work rotations, including day, night, and weekend shifts, to ensure uninterrupted intelligence support to ongoing operations and exercises. You will be adhering to strict security protocols and procedures to safeguard classified information and maintain operational security. Contributing to the refinement of COMINT/PROFORMA/FISINT analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques to enhance the team's overall effectiveness, and providing direct intelligence support to real-world military operations, training exercises, and crisis response efforts in the Pacific.Primary Roles and Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth intelligence analysis of COMINT/PROFORMA/FISINT. Identify and analyze the technical characteristics of signals, including their structure, parameters, and content. Evaluate, analyze, and document the signals and protocol environment of assigned accesses. Produce detailed reports and briefings that accurately convey the findings of signal analyses. Develop intelligence products and analytical assessments to provide actionable intelligence and context. Use comprehensive understanding of collection platforms to combine information from various sources, including Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT). Provide shift work support as required to ensure continuous intelligence coverage. Maintain a high level of proficiency in COMINT/PROFORMA/FISINT analysis through application of best practices. Performs other duties as assigned. Approximately 20% travel possible, both to Mainland and Allied and Partner nations, in support of conferences, planning sessions, and exercises. Minimum Requirements: 5+ Years of experience with Communications Intelligence (COMINT), PROFORMA, or Foreign Instrumentation Signals Intelligence (FISINT) collection and signals analysis Experience with collection and signals analysis Knowledge of signal characteristics, structure, parameters, and content Ability to analyze and report technical characteristics of signals in the RF and digital domains to determine structure, parameters, content, and purpose Ability to provide shift work support An active Top Secret/SCI with CI poly is required. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance Completed 450/460 Fundamental COMINT Signals Analysis courses HS diploma or GED and 9+ years of professional experience, Associate's degree and 7+ years of professional experience, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of professional experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience with INDOPACOM Intelligence problem sets Completion of a credentialing Service School including Navy Cryptological Technician - Collections (CTR), Army 35S, Air Force 1N2C, Marine 2621, or Intelligence Community (IC) tradecraft-recognized SIGINT analyst certification course The salary range for this position is $110K to $130K. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
