This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, working alongside experienced engineers and project managers on the relocation and redesign of motor control centers (MCCs) that are vital to plant operations.Job Responsibilities Assist in the design, layout, and relocation of motor control centers (MCCs) and associated electrical systems.Support the coordination of field activities, including site surveys, equipment assessments, and installation planning.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, civil, and controls engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.Review and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.Participate in project planning, scheduling, and documentation efforts.Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.Assist in troubleshooting and resolving field issues as they arise.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required).0–3 years of relevant experience in electrical design, construction, or industrial project support.Familiarity with motor control centers (MCCs), power distribution, and industrial electrical systems is a strong plus.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools is preferred.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work onsite daily and adapt to a hands-on, fast-paced environment.Must be local to the Pensacola, FL area or willing to relocate at own expense.Why Join Us?Be part of a mission-critical infrastructure project that directly impacts plant performance and reliability.Gain valuable experience in field engineering and project execution.Work with a collaborative and experienced team of professionals.Opportunity for career growth and mentorship in a dynamic engineering environment. Apex Benefits Overview: Apex offers a range of supplemental benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance plans that offer an optional layer of financial protection.
