RYS staff offer shift coverage during absences of direct care staff.ResponsibilitiesCover shifts for direct care staff within our Pioneers Center when they need time offMaintain safety of youth, most often between ages of 12-18Provide transportation to and from school, appointments, activities or visitsDaily documentation of youth in careEngage youth in life skills, educational activities and outingsProvide support during crisis intervention and structure for youthFacilitate educational groups addressing job readiness, wellness, social skills, and community serviceCreate and maintain positive relationships with youth, families and program staffRequirementsMust be 21 years of age of olderHigh School Diploma or GED requiredA go-getter who isn’t afraid to jump right in and help outPassion for helping youth in crisis and understand how trauma impacts youth developmentEnjoy working collaboratively with other team members and professionals in the agencyStrong written and verbal communication skillsYou have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
