Supply Chain Manager Job, Lysander Plant, Food Production, Full-Time, Baldwinsville, NY Agrana Fruit US, Inc., a global leader in the production of fruit preparations for the dairy industry, is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to be responsible for the management of all activities and functions associated with raw material receiving and warehousing, finished goods warehousing and shipping and production scheduling. The salary range for this role is between $90,000 - $110,000 / year base. Supply Chain Manager is responsible for assuring materials are managed to provide the highest quality and on time delivery to the operations groups as well as managing losses within those areas. Supply Chain Manager Job Responsibilities: Manage the daily activities to assure production scheduling is created and presented to operations group to meet efficiency of processes. Accountable for the full maintenance of a physical inventory program to include operations consumption of materials Manage the warehousing and shipment of all finished product to our customers in a quality and on time delivery status. Oversees administrative staffing in supply chain/warehouse team. Develop continuous improvement to areas of responsibility based on performance indicators Active member of the Lysander Food Safety Team Actively support plant safety team initiative and ensure work environment is safe for employees Responsible for the direct development and performance tracking of 12 direct reports on Supply Chain/Warehouse team Participate in establishing, monitoring, and achieving plant operational targets and goals Manage budgetary aspects of direct areas of responsibility contributing cost control measures and capital project direction for those areas in Supply Chain/Warehouse Manage aspects of “outside” activity to include management of entire tote inventory, dumping of waste fruit, recycling programs for the disposal of plastic, cardboard, metal, wooden pallets Day to day carrier management as it relates to inbound and outbound scheduling Supply Chain Manager Job Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent job experience in Supply Chain/Warehouse/Business or applicable field. Minimum of 5 years management job experience in warehousing, shipping, materials control, supply chain and inventory control. Strong computer skills with thorough knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system. Working Knowledge of GMP and HACCP program requirements Previous job experience with Continuous Improvement Disciplines (TQM, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) Excellent problem-solving skills focusing on Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Strong knowledge of US and Canadian Customs a plus Agrana Fruit is the world market leader and leading ingredient supplier of fruit preparations in one of the fastest growing segments in the food industry.
