We are looking for a Merchandising Assistant to join our great team

The Merchandising Assistant is an entry-level position that supports our merchants in daily operations for both the catalogs and e-commerce. Responsibilities include data entry and data management, and communication between departments and with vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Merchants with daily support in merchandising and buying. Set up new vendors and new items in databases and maintain all data integrity.  Request and follow up on product information from vendors in a timely manner.  Work with vendors and creative team to provide product images or samples for photography.  Maintain copy and photography assets in management systems. Maintain accurate cost and pricing in database.  Proof catalog, web site, and emails for accuracy and product availability. Communicate relevant information with cross-functional departments including creative marketing, e-commerce, inventory planning, warehouse, and finance.  Work with merchants, marketing and ecommerce to create compelling campaigns. Prepare seasonal reviews and post-mortem documents as requested. Monitor competitor catalogs and web sites and relay pertinent information to merchants. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience preferred Must be highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks Most be accurate and detail oriented Must possess a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and spread sheet maintenance. Strong telephone, email communication skills and interpersonal skills Must work well as part of a team and willing to pitch in wherever needed. Must be comfortable with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
