Ignite IT is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in supporting the development, testing, and deployment of web applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated build, test, and deployment pipelines; ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of our systems; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement. Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similarCollaborate with development teams to develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practicesDevelop and maintain automated tests, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testingEnsure high availability, scalability, and performance of our systems by monitoring and troubleshooting issues, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimizationsWork with operations teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications into production environmentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to improve the overall development lifecycleParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team membersStay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and recommend improvements to our DevOps processesRequirements5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on automation, continuous integration, and continuous deploymentProficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShellExperience with containerization using Docker or similar technologyKnowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud PlatformFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK StackStrong understanding of automated testing frameworks and tools, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testingExperience with configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or ChefAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a teamExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailEffective communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldCertification in DevOps engineering (e.g., Certified DevOps Engineer) or a related fieldExperience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)Knowledge of security best practices and compliance regulationsBenefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Referral program Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance
