Actual pay is hourly and based on hours worked Role Requirements: Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor State & federal background checks Youll Stand Out If You: Passion for education and putting students first An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be Have a Substitute Teaching Permit OR NV Teaching Credential Have previous experience in special education settings Are bilingual and/or have bilingual teaching experience What Youll Do: Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Encourage student engagement and participation throughout the day Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions, following any lesson plans left by the teacher Communicate clearly with school staff Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher About Scoot Education Scoot Education is a thoughtful staffing partner with a mission to help create exceptional experiences in education.
