If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking a Data Center Site Manager to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US).Data Center Site ManagerThe Data Center Site Manager will be responsible for managing the operation and maintenance of the critical facility infrastructure and well as the 7x24x365 operations for the data center environment per the company's policies and procedures. The Data Center Manager will manage the local relationship with the customer and report to the Director of Hosting Operations.The anticipated start date for this position is late Jan/early Feb 2025. The ideal candidate will be located 30 minutes or less from Alpharetta, GA.Responsibilities:Empower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspects of our operationsLead a team of data center professionals supporting the customer's environment Oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and raised floor operations in the data centerSupervise the on-site management of sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work is performed according to established practices and procedures.Establish and enhance a strong working relationship and engagement with our client, staff, and act as the point of contact at this siteEstablish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of the critical facility operations and maintenance.Oversee projects, manage capacity, and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, and efficiency.Assure compliance to all audit and state regulationsManage all work activities, within specified change control/management protocol.Maintain a constant state of readiness in support of the mission goal of 100% uptimeAssures program implementation, risk identification, and mitigationManage the administer MOPs and SOPs for all work on critical facilities/data center facility equipmentBasic Qualifications:10+ years of data center / critical facility operations and maintenance experience.At least 7 years experience leading and motivating a diverse, technical workforceEducationBachelor’s degree in technology, business, or related field, or equal experience instead of education, Equivalent military facilities training/certification equivalent. Additional RequirementsPrevious experience as a Data Center Site ManagerStrong verbal and written communications skillsMust be able to lift to 25 pounds at timesMust be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilitiesMust be able to access all parts of the company equipmentSolid Understanding of Critical Electrical and Mechanical / HVAC equipment (UPS, Generators, Switchgears, PDU's, Cooling Systems, etc.)Relevant working experience in a data center or other critical environment facility, working with operation of building cooling, electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems, electrical power monitoring, branch circuit monitoring, building automation, and battery monitoring systems.Experience managing the DC facilities, equipment, and events preferredProject Management experience preferredExcellent verbal communication skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsStrong change agentCDCMP or equivalent military facilities training/certificationAbout NTT DATANTT DATA is a $30 billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
