We thrive on delivering an educational experience enriched with learning and growth opportunities for each and every child.We are currently hiring for Preschool Teachers to join our growing team of teaching professionals.Stop by one of our main campuses today for immediate employment consideration Oak Ridge Young Learners Academy - 25511 Richards Rd., Spring, TX 77386 The Woodlands Young Learners Academy - 1500 Woodstead Ct., Spring, TX 77380 What we offer: $10-$15 per hour depending upon experience Full benefits to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, and educational assistance (available to full-time employees) Discount childcare Year-round school and working hours And more Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent GED Two years of experience working in a preschool teaching capacity or similar role; or An equivalent combination of education and experience CPR & First Aide Certification Job Summary:The Preschool Teacher is responsible for leading, or otherwise assisting with, instructional personnel at the preschool level to conduct preschool and child development activities, preparing instructional materials, as well as adhering to company policies.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Supervises children in all activitiesPreparing materials used in instructional activitiesLeads indoor and outdoor activities that are planned by the teacherPerforms play area supervision and guides students into safe play activitiesCollecting and organizing data on student learningAssists students to develop communication skills and serves as an appropriate language modelMaintains discipline in a firm, consistent and positive mannerAssists children with toileting and changing those who have experienced toileting accidentsMay assist students to develop self-help skillsPerforms routine first aid and seek assistance for non-routine illnesses and injuriesAttend meetings and participate in training workshops, conferences, courses and a variety of professional growth activities as requiredPerforms minor housekeeping tasks in maintaining a neat, clean and orderly and safe classroom atmosphereParticipate in specified team meetings, Open House meetings, fundraisers and other designated company events (Specified by Director or Lead Instructor)Record-keeping and report preparation techniquesCorrect English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabularyCommunicate effectively with children and adults both orally and in writingObserve and assist student learningDemonstrate patience, respect and understanding of othersWork independently with minimal directionBe flexible and able to work as a team memberPlan and organize workMaintain records and prepare reportsEstablish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with othersPerform other duties as assignedEqual Opportunity EmployerRequirementsMinimum Education & Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent GED Two years of experience working in a preschool teaching capacity or similar role; or An equivalent combination of education and experience CPR & First Aide Certification BenefitsWhat we offer: $10-$15 per hour depending upon experience Full benefits to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, and educational assistance (available to full-time employees) Discount childcare Year-round school and working hours And more
