Goodwill Staffing works with a variety of Clients offering a variety of job opportunities. The GSS – General Laborers position will consist of short-term employment opportunities that may become temp-to-hire positions. This position is usually outdoors, and the incumbent will be exposed to the elements. These opportunities are typically more physical requiring the incumbent to be walking, standing, twisting, bending, and/or carrying/moving heavy objects through their shift. The GSS – General Laborers position is customer facing and will represent the Client and Goodwill in a positive manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Warehouse Cleanup: Temp help cleaning up warehouse for manufacturer. Construction Cleanup: Temporary assignments working home builder construction sites to cleanup debris Skilled Construction: Temporary assignments with skilled workers on a construction site Event Staff: Temporary staff needed for events that would provide customer service and event set up Janitorial Various temporary custodian or janitorial assignments  Carpet Cleaning: As a carpet cleaner for an apartment complex located in Colorado Springs. Duties include carrying carpet cleaning machine upstairs and running machine to clean carpets. We also offer additional day labor jobs in these types of fields.
