Individual Contributor.Position Summary: To conduct thorough market research and analyze competitor offerings. To gather customer feedback and manage and grow the sales territories. To have excellent technical skills, selling skills and the ability to conduct in-dept. product demonstrations. To remain up to date with the company’s products, services, and latest industry trends.Essential Duties:Preparing and developing technical presentations with equipment in the field to explain our company’s products or services to customers. Presentations will predominantly be in person, face to face with customers.Discussing equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineersCollaborating with sales personnel to understand customer requirements and provide sales supportGenerating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveriesEvaluating, problem solving, and defining products to meet customers’ technical requirements and needsHelping Customer problems with installed products and recommending improved or upgraded materials and machinerySoliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers into Salesforce CRMAchieving sales goals and company set quotasTraining other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company’s products and servicesMemorizing technical product specifications and keeping up to date with new company products as well as industry trendsAttending conferences, lectures, seminars, and workshops to improve your skills and knowledgeWriting reports and liaising with the product management team regarding issues, foreseeable problems, and effective solutionsSimplifying technical terms during product demonstrations and post-sales customer supportMaintaining strong professional relationships with existing clients and meeting with new clients to expand sales territoriesUpdating orders and sales and negotiating the best company contract termsTravel up to 85%, it is imperative the Technical Sales Representative be in the market, in front of customers providing demonstrations, training and support to end users, distributors and manufacturer representatives.Essential Areas of Responsibility:1. Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or similar preferredExperience in sales and the technology/utility field preferredStrong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational, research and multitasking abilitiesStrong negotiating and problem-solving skillsAble to understand and speak English fluently (required)Able to understand and speak Spanish fluently (desirable)A valid driver’s licenseAble to be approved to secure DOT approval to drive company vehicles.Physical Demands:Must be able to stand, walk, sit, kneel, twist, stoop, crawl, climb and bendMust be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time and work on a computerAbility to talk on a phone for long periods of timeMust be able to lift 50 pounds at timesMental Demands:Ability to perform basic arithmetic and forecastingBe able to solve problems and issues effectivelyOrganizational skills and attention to detailAbility to handle pressures and meet deadlinesSuperior time management and organizational skillsKnowledge of the telecommunication and utility industry with current eventsWorking Conditions:Adheres to the time and attendance requirements as established by the NSMConditions will vary from office to production environmentsSome nights and weekends as required and/or neededCompensation details: 70000-80000 Yearly SalaryPI6dce64eee020-30511-38664535
