Academic Program Specialist

About This Role: The Academic Program Specialist serves the department by facilitating clear communication, organization, and support amongst faculty, students, and applicants. In addition to providing administrative support to the Department Chair and faculty, coordinating meetings, preparing correspondence, and performing various administrative tasks, the Academic Program Specialist develops and implements initiatives, organizes virtual and on-campus events, and manages the admissions process. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education or related field.Experience providing support for academic programs.Knowledge of college and university work environments.Experience recruiting prospective college or university students and/or supporting current college or university students.
