Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Position DetailsSchedule: Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.Start Date: Immediately, following the onboarding process.Location: Thousand Oaks, CA Patient Care: The patient attends a day program. Your duties will include:Greeting the patient upon arrival from the bus.Assisting with ambulation; the patient is ambulatory but may need support with a gait belt.Light meal preparation.Medication preparation.Assisting with hygiene and getting the patient ready for bed.Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive PayFlexible SchedulesEmployee Benefits, including Health, Vision, and Dental InsuranceLicensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Job ResponsibilitiesProvide compassionate, one-on-one care in the patient’s home.Prepare, administer, and record medications as ordered by the physician.Maintain compliance with HIPAA guidelines and all agency policies and procedures.Respond to and initiate emergency protocols as needed.Report to the Case Manager, RN Supervisor, and Director of Nursing.Travel to the patient's home is required.Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Qualifications & RequirementsCurrent California State LVN Licensure.A minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience.Current CPR Certificate.Licensed California Driver (or adequate means of transportation).Negative TB test result or chest x-ray documentation.Physical Clearance (most recent physical exam).
