Overview At Northern Idaho Advanced Care Hospital, we are passionate about patient care We provide critical care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries and has earned The Joint Commission’s Respiratory Failure Certification. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. At our 40-bed hospital, we are a free-standing, long-term acute care hospital serving patients in communities throughout the Inland Northwest. We are seeking a Speech Language Therapist PRN to join our team of passionate patient caregivers As a participating hospital of Ernest Health, our patients are family. Additional Qualifications/Skills : · Demonstrates an understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency. · Demonstrates appropriate application of age specific standards, policies and procedures and guidelines in caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients · Demonstrates competency in the provision of care according to established standards · Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures. · Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management. · Leadership skills in delegating, organizing, and educating coworkers and staff. · Effective organizational and time management skills. · Effective written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality. · Ability to work closely and professionally with others. · Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards. We're located in the following states: Arizona California Colorado Idaho Indiana Montana New Mexico Ohio South Carolina Texas Utah Wisconsin Wyoming Responsibilities Assesses, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, swallowing, fluency, and other related disorders. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
