SENIOR TAX MANAGER

They are seeking a Tax Manager to oversee a team of highly motivated staff. The successful Tax Manager will have high ethical standards and make an impact on day one. This position is fast tracked to partnership. Performance Expectations for the Tax Manager: Oversee and train a team of highly motivated staff accountants/tax accountantsProvide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of clientsOversee complex tax projects for a variety of clients and diverse industriesMaintain strong relationships with clientsBe a hands-on leader Experience/Qualifications for the Tax Manager: Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or EquivalentMaster of Science and Taxation degree (highly desirable)CPA Certificate required8+ years of proven experience in public accounting, with 5 years in a tax supervisory roleMust have the ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client serviceMust have strong multi-tasking skillsMust have strong leadership skillsMust be willing to work >40 hours per week during busy seasonApplicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Compensation for the Tax Manager: Benefits: 401k plan (With match), health, dental, vision, unlimited PTO, and paid holidaysContinuing education programsStrong work and life balanceUpward mobility into a partnership role for the right individual Contact: Kiara Myers, search consultant, to learn more about this confidential career opportunity.
