Teaching Assistant Professor Research, Evaluation, Measurement, and Statistics Start Date: Fall 2026 POSITION:The School of Educational Foundations, Leadership, and Aviation (SEFLA) in the College of Education and Human Sciences (CEHS) at Oklahoma State University (OSU) is seeking highly qualified candidates for a career-track position at the rank of Teaching Assistant Professor in the Research, Evaluation, Measurement, and Statistics (REMS) graduate program with an anticipated start date of August 2026. RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will teach graduate courses in educational and psychological statistics, measurement, and other areas appropriate to the candidate’s expertise and the program’s needs. Additional responsibilities may include contributions to scholarly activity and serving as a resource to the school, college, university, and profession. The teaching load will be 21 credit hours over the nine-month academic year (., seven courses per academic year). REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications include an earned doctorate in a quantitative methods discipline with a strong emphasis on methodological research (., simulation work), potential for excellence in teaching, and a record of scholarly productivity commensurate with the candidate’s level of experience. Information on benefits can be found at GENERAL INFORMATION: The REMS Program offers degree programs that focus on theoretical and applied statistical methods in education, psychology, and social sciences, with additional coursework in educational psychology and a cognate area of the student’s choice. Graduates pursue a variety of educational research and evaluation careers within public schools, government agencies, private corporations, foundations, and national testing agencies.
