EPATT Tutor (Virtual, K-12) - Part-Time Location: Must be located in California (or able to complete fingerprinting in CA)Pay: $22/sessionHours: Minimum 2 sessions/week (minimum 3 hours/week including prep and professional development)Term: Ongoing (Fall: Sept-Dec, Spring: Jan-May, Summer: June-July)Mode: Primarily remote; in-person optional for local candidates About EPATTEast Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring (EPATT) is a nonprofit serving K–12 students since 1988 through academic tutoring, tennis, and enrichment activities. Our mission is to help students become college and career-ready.Position SummaryDo you want to equip youth for college and career readiness? Then EPATT tutoring wants you EPATT Tutors provide 1:1 academic support to students in grades K–12 using EPATT’s curriculum. Subjects include Reading, Math, Science, or SAT Prep.What We’re Looking For Located in California and authorized to work in the U.S. Strong understanding of K-12 math, reading, and writing College students or graduates preferred (high school seniors with a 3.5+ GPA may apply) Organized, responsible, and energetic Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience working with youth from under-resourced communities is a plus Technology Requirements Comfortable using technology to lead virtual tutoring sessions. Able to independently troubleshoot basic tech issues and support students as needed. Must use a laptop or desktop computer with a working camera and microphone (iPads/tablets are not compatible). Reliable high-speed internet connection required. Willing to learn and adapt to new digital tools as needed.
