The Radiology Technologist CT will:

Prepare the patient for the radiographic procedure Obtain pertinent clinical information; ., the possibility of pregnancy, history of allergies Prepare and operate imaging equipment Ensure the proper level of supplies are stocked in the assigned room on a daily basis Accurately produce radiographs that are able to be adequately interpreted by Radiologist Assist Radiologist during invasive and interventional procedures practicing proper sterile technique Document in the patient's chartOversee Student Radiologic Technologist's activities when a student is assigned to the same work area.

Requirements:

Requires a current New Jersey license to practice Radiologic Technology. Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Staff Technologist. Requires a working knowledge of the x-ray and computer technology normally found within the Radiology Department. Possesses the sensitivity and skills to efficiently interact with patients, Physicians, Hospital employees and students. Possesses good reading and deductive skills in order to ascertain Physicians' requests and solve problems. Possesses the ability to think and move quickly in order to deliver quality and efficient patient care. Rotates on-call. BLS Certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
