A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced school psychologist to support two elementary schools in Tucson, AZ. This contract position offers a full-time, in-person role dedicated to providing comprehensive psychological services to students, focusing on a caseload of approximately 100 students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). With a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment, you will play a vital role in promoting student well-being and academic success.Key Responsibilities:Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students requiring special education services.Develop and implement individualized interventions and support plans.Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to address student needs effectively.Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and recommendations.Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.Assist in crisis intervention and consultation regarding behavioral and developmental concerns.Qualifications:Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist.Experience working with elementary school-aged children.Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and assessment tools.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 100 students efficiently.Work Details:Location: Tucson, AZSetting: Two elementary schoolsSchedule: 40 hours per week, fully in-personDuration: Contract for the current school year (CSY)This role offers a meaningful chance to impact the academic journey and emotional health of young learners directly.
