Sugarloaf Parking and Transportation Supervisor

OverviewThe Sugarloaf Parking and Transportation Team is the very front line of guest service in our winter operations. Our P&T Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, supporting, and assisting this crew to ensure stellar service. This role will also be the point person for the department in maintaining clear and positive communication with other resort departments to meet service goals.The ideal fit for this role will have some supervisory experience and will be willing and able to work in an outdoor environment in all conditions. If you are passionate about guest service and want to work with a great team in a beautiful setting, please apply today ResponsibilitiesTrain and support the crew in the safe transportation of guests and in guiding guest vehicles into approved parking spaces and lots at the start of the dayAssume the daily roles and duties of Shuttle Driver and/or Parking Lot Attendant as neededAssist with department schedules and payroll. This role will also assist in record keeping and maintenance for the department.Delegate tasks to foreman and crew members at the start of and throughout the dayAssist in snow and ice removal from parking lots and areas; communicate snow removal plan with other resort departments as neededSet up parking lots and walkways with proper equipmentRope/close off parking lots as they reach capacityDevelop/possess a deep knowledge of the resort and the surrounding area to be able to answer, or find the answer to, any guest questions QualificationsMust have a positive attitude and value strong teamworkMust possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record and be willing to obtain a CDL license with bus endorsementAt least 1 to 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role is preferred for this position; prior resort experience is a plusSugarloaf Team Member Benefits include:Free lift pass for skiing and/or ridingDiscounts at resort F&B and retail locationsDiscounted ski/snowboard lessons and rentalsAccess to Nordic trails and discounted equipment rentals at our Outdoor Center locationDiscounted passes at other Boyne and partner resortsTrain and support the crew in the safe transportation of guests and in guiding guest vehicles into approved parking spaces and lots at the start of the dayAssume the daily roles and duties of Shuttle Driver and/or Parking Lot Attendant as neededAssist with department schedules and payroll.
