Job Details

Responsibilities will include:

Record and maintain proper food temperatures. Measure and mix ingredients following standardized recipes. Meet demands of meal schedules. Requisition supplies and food items required for the following day according to menu. Prepare, cater and serve special functions in the facility. Keep all equipment and utensils in sanitary condition, good working order and use properly. Check refrigerators for proper food storage including labeling and dating all food items. Report any broken or damaged equipment to Supervisor or Food Service Director. Keep area and equipment in good order to meet sanitary code. May be required to close kitchen at end of shift in absence of Supervisor. Report to Food Service Director any missing menu items. Expand standardized recipes as needed. Complete form for handling of potentially hazardous foods. Knowledge of safe food handling techniques required by the DOH. Perform other related duties as required. Consistently utilize safety procedures. Recognize and report potential hazards in the work area. Use personal protective equipment appropriately to prevent chemical/infectious exposure. Use proper equipment and procedures to prevent accidents. Identify safe handling techniques for the unpredictable resident/patient. Promptly report potential violent situations and/or incidences. Salary Range

USD - USD /Hr.

The pay for this position ranges from - per hour/per year.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
