As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a welcoming environment. You will remain visible throughout your patrols, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhy Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activities.Communicate and collaborate with healthcare staff and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns and incidents.Prepare detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.Support access control procedures, including verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the location.Assist in the implementation of emergency protocols and evacuation procedures as required by the site.Remain alert and observant to changes in the environment and report potential hazards or security-related issues to appropriate personnel.Minimum Requirements:Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.Possess a valid armed guard card or license.Customer service experience is preferred.X-ray screening experience is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
