Senior Claims AdjusterWe are seeking an experienced Senior Claims Adjuster to handle complex property and casualty insurance claims. In this key individual contributor role, you will take on complex claims while upholding quality, accuracy and timely processing standards.Responsibilities: Investigate and analyze complicated claims filed under commercial policiesDetermine extent of insurance carrier's liability while identifying any potential fraudNegotiate optimum settlements and authorize payments within designated limitsDocument claim files with all actions, findings and settlement detailsPossess extensive knowledge on policy contracts to provide policy interpretationMaintain regular contact with insured to discuss claim processes and explain resolutionsCollaborate with underwriters regarding large losses and risk improvement recommendationsIdentify suspicious claims and refer for specialized investigations as needed Requirements: 5+ years handling complex commercial, personal injury, auto/property damage claimsAdvanced knowledge of insurance claims best practicesOutstanding analytical thinking and attention to detailExcellent negotiation and communication abilitiesConfident decision making skills with proven judgementAbility to work independently while managing a variety of claim assignmentsWillingness to continue insurance designations (CPCU, AIC, etc.) If you have the required subject matter expertise to handle significant claim volumes and exposures, we want to hear from you.
