Currently seeking a Evening (3pm-11pm) Nurse Supervisor Address: 337 Neponset Ave, Dorchester, MA The Bostonian, a not-for-profit organization, is a spacious, recently renovated 121-bed skilled nursing facility with a unique neighborhood setting conveniently located in metro Boston MA, accessible by public transportation. The Bostonian is a preferred post-acute provider for major acute care hospitals in the Boston area. We provide short term rehabilitation, long term care and respite care. Come join our team Benefits for Nursing Supervisor: Health Insurance 403(b) Retirement Plan Referral Bonuses Tuition Reimbursement Shift Differentials Requirements for Nursing Supervisor: Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN State License and current CPR certification Nursing degree from an accredited college or university One year of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting. Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills. Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred. Bilingual proficiency preferred, but not required, to meet the needs of a beautifully diverse workforce and patient population Job Duties for Nursing Supervisor: Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges Supervise and mentor nurses and CNAs, to foster growth and learning in clinical team Manage staffing changes Support family inquiries and screen visitors Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions Ensure high quality resident/patient care Provide support to ancillary staff as needed The Bostonian truly appreciates our employees and looks forward to welcoming our new Nursing Supervisor to our extended family INDHP
