Job Description As a Security Officer – Hospital Lot Patrol Driver in Greensburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeTue04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWed04:00 PM - 12:00 AMThur04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhy Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within the healthcare location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.Observe and report any unusual activity, incidents, or hazards encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel or management.Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, checking identification as required, and providing directions or assistance to patients, staff, and visitors.Support Allied Universal in maintaining a welcoming and secure environment for all individuals at the healthcare location.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
